This animation is made from four distinct drawings, the largest of which is a meditation on twenty five wrenches, both real and imagined, a detail of which is seen below. I make copies of the drawings in multiple scales - both enlarging and minimizing the tools - and then cut them out. This animation is made with hundreds of wrench “puppets” that vary in size, the smallest being an inch tall, the largest fourteen inches.
